Today is National Tooth Fairy Day, a biannual (twice a year) holiday, and it seems like the kind of day we should be celebrating. After all, as a force for good and bringer of happiness to little children, what’s not to like about the mystical Tooth Fairy?

Regardless of your age, how many of you still have a collection of their teeth stashed away?And if you're reading this in denial, then perhaps ask your mom if she still has your first lost tooth in the back of a drawer, a box in the attic, or your old baby book. All those years ago when you placed your freshly lost teeth under the pillow did you really think the Tooth Fairy was real, had collected your teeth, and gave you some coins in return?
