Today, just to show we’re aware of more than just the 21st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States (the one that repealed Prohibition), we’re celebrating the 19th Amendment, with a special DOTD - Drink Of The Day - the Suffragette Cocktail!
In case you’d forgotten, the 19th Amendment - the one that prohibited states from denying women the right to vote - was ratified into law on this date, August 18, 1920, 125 years ago.
We realize that Pete “Kegbreath” Hegseth, and his hyper-misogynistic cult leader Doug Wilson, and many of the incels in their MAGAland cult would rather that women didn’t vote at all. Yeah, those douchebags can go to hell. And we hope they end up there sooner than later. But for now, let’s all drink to women having the right to vote.
