This is to celebrate being able to legally drink over the age of 21...

Today’s DOTD - Drink Of The Day - is called the 20th Century Cocktail to celebrate Legal Drinking Age Day, inspired by the passage of the U.S. National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984, which required states to raise their minimum drinking age to 21 or risk losing a portion of their federal highway funds. Just because those over 21 were the only ones in most of the U.S. who could purchase booze didn’t stop those under 21 from consuming it, though. For a time during the mid & late 1980s, some states did fight the age change, like Colorado, where Jody lived for a bit. She’s got a great story about that, which she’ll tell us all about. But first?
